This is the ultimate survival course designed for young people
This unique 6 week survival course is designed as a club that young people can meet friends and make new ones and learn to survive in the wild at the same time. It’s not just all about survival, it’s about having fun outdoors through adventure, exploring and discovery
Each week the participants will learn a new survival skill taking them through all the main principles of survival, shelter, fire, food, water, navigation, rescue and first aid and more... Finishing off the course with a final test of their skills in the overnight survival challenge.
This club will run on Mondays from 12.30pm to 2.30pm
What to expect over the course:
Week 1 - Shelter building Week 2 - Fire lighting & campfire prep, building, maintaining Week 3 - Water sourcing & purifying Week 4 - wild foods, insects, foraging Week 5 - Cooking in the field Week 6 - Knife & axe skills Week 7 - Tracks & Tracking Week 8 - Wilderness First Aid
Cost for the whole 8 week course - £72 per person

WHAT TO BRING:
Children will need to bring their own snack and drink for the session. Attendees are required to bring their own hand towel and preferably their own hand sanitiser. Children will also need to wear appropriate clothing... waterproofs, long sleeved top, long trousers and sturdy footwear. These are required even in warm weather. Children are not required to wear face coverings for the session and face coverings remain optional for adults.
Car parking is free and restricted to 10 cars A covid declaration will need to be completed on arrival We are required to take the temperature of all attendees upon arrival. This will be done by a non-contact thermometer. Practitioners will also check their own temperatures regularly throughout the session. Attendees will be required to use the mandatory hand sanitiser station on entry and exit to the site.
